EDGE Employment provides excellent employment solutions through partnership and support for all who use our service.
Goals arising from this mission statement:
To promote, develop and access employment opportunities for job seekers in our area.
To develop individual solutions that focus on choice, growth and development of people.
To offer on-going support to job seekers, workers and employers in partnership with them
To provide a safe and accessible service, which remains committed and responsive to the needs of people with mental illness living in the community
To be aware of the needs, trends and directions of the business community
To provide a high quality, competitive service which meets all contractual requirements.
To promote community awareness of the needs of people who experience a mental illness in relation to work.
To ensure equity of service to all job seekers - not excluding those with highest support needs.
To develop close and effective working relationships with affiliated community agencies.
To operate in a manner that supports the employment aspirations of people of all cultures.
To be recognised as the leading Supported Employment agency for people who experience mental illness in New Zealand.
